About Our Office

Our Mission

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Office of the Student Information System within the Division of Enrollment Management.  Our office provides, through partnership, leadership, and support, an environment that ensures the integrity, maintainability, and optimal usage of the Student Information System, SIS.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure effective processes are in place to allow appropriate access to data for the custodial offices, school/college end users, and institution administrators.  This is accomplished via coordination with Student Information System Working Groups comprised of members of the campus community.
  • Coordinate and facilitate production support, maintenance, upgrades, security, learning, communication, and overall policy, procedures, and standards for the Student Information System.
